I didn’t get chance to come to the meeting. But want to object to the proposal of developing this site. The site is too large a development for the village infrastructure, the road leading to the village from that site was designed for a horse and cart not large volumes of traffic and the field is water logged most of the year (if built on could cause flooding for existing houses in that area).
I was at the meeting and totally agree with your comments. These points were all raised at the meeting but were not satisfactorily answered by any means. There are apparently some proposed suggested solutions to the access problem but these are “confidential” at the moment. I can only assume they invlove the purchase and development of more land to build a suitable access road to the site. The council were not prepared to reveal any details of how they propse to resolve this major issue.
