Neil and his family have lived in Histon for over twenty years and he works for Barclays Agriculture at the Bank’s Vision Park office.
He has been a Village Parish Councillor for 19 years and is currently an Independent District Councillor for the village.
With his proactive involvement in the community Neil is an integral part of many aspects of village life.
This includes being a governor at Histon Junior School since 1993, a member of the Village Youth Committee and, managing the Histon & Impington Community Minibus since 1993.
Neil has been Histon Feast Treasurer since 1988, and has helped organise many village community events.
Neil enjoys all sports playing, spectating and organising. He is passionate about the development of girls football and sport generally in the village. He is race director of the Bonfire Burn 10k now the largest sporting event in the District and his next project is the The Flaming June Half Marathon in 2014
