County Council Guided Bus people have advised:

‘Over the last few weeks the bus operators have notified the Busway team of a number of beams requiring attention along the busway.  These have now been assessed by our contractors and  Skanska will be undertaking maintenance works as follows:

Friday 10th April Midnight to Monday 13th April 05:00 hrs  Histon.  Guideway closed between Station Road Histon and Orchard Park spur.  Maintenance track will also be closed in this section.  Advance closure signs will be installed in the area early next week to provide warning to cyclists and pedestrians. Route diversions will be in place for buses.

Friday 17th April Midnight to Monday 20th April 05:00 Trumpington.  Guideway closed between Trumpington and Addenbrookes spur. Foster Road stops will be closed with advance signage on the shelters.  Route diversion will be in place for buses.

There will also be minor work undertaken between St.Ives and Swavesey and Oakington one night between Wenesday 15th April and Friday 17th April but these works will be undertaken during engineering hours and will not therefore involve any diversions.  Maintenance tracks will be closed for some of these works and Skanska have been told to put advance warning signs in areas for cyclists and pedestrians.’
