Some of the topics they covered included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wildfires and flooding<\/li>\n<li>Changes in weather patterns such as heatwaves and flooding<\/li>\n<li>Loss of habitat<\/li>\n<li>Local awareness<\/li>\n<li>Reduce litter and encourage recycling in schools\/shop \u2013 crisp packet collection points<\/li>\n<li>Meetings and participation with HI Action for Tress, Uniformed groups; South Cambridgeshire District Council<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u2018Be brave, make good decisions for the future\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Carbon zero aspirations<\/li>\n<li>Creating a safer, clean environment by reducing Carbon Dioxide<\/li>\n<li>Planting more trees, bringing back habitat<\/li>\n<li>Stamp out climate change for good!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The members of the Council thanked the young people for attending and helping to raise awareness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Parish Councillor<\/strong>: \u00a0there was a vacancy on the Council and we were able to fill this with the co-option onto the council of Ros Hathorn.
