Notice Boards in Histon & Impington

If you want to advertise a local event to the community there are 3 notice boards with open access – at the War Memorial, next to the bus stop at School Hill and on The Green

These notice boards are not locked and aim to be self-regulating in that people should ideally take down their poster after the event is finished, or those putting up new posters can take down out of date items at the same time.  They were introduced to reduce the fly-posting seen in various parts of the village, especially on trees where harm can be caused and discarded drawing pins can cause problems

The Parish Council notice boards at the War Memorial, School Hill, The Copse and the Recreation Ground are locked and are up-dated weekly by staff with notices that the Council is legally required to share with the community, together with any information relevant to the Council’s activities

  1. I put up a notice at The Brook notice board on 23 Feb 2016 to advertise the IVC We Will Rock You performances this week 2,3,4 March and it has been removed. Why?
