Feast Festival 2017
Members of the Council all joined in thanking the Feast Committee for the exceptional and outstanding event they organised for the villages on 2 July. With only 6 members on the Feast Committee this was all the more remarkable!
Village of The Year Channel 4 TV
Members heard about the filming schedule for this programme with Histon & Impington having reached the final 76 in this national competition headed up by Dame Penelope Keith, star of To The Manor Born and The Good Life
Road Closure at Baptist Church Junction
The Council looked at the plans for improvements to the junction outside the Baptist Church due to be carried out mid to late August. Letters are to be delivered to nearby properties in advance. Access to properties will be maintained at all times but road closures will be in place between 14 and 25 August
The Council does not normally meet in August, being the summer break season. The next scheduled meeting of Full Council will be held on Monday 18th September at the Recreation Community Room, New Road, Impington. Refreshments are available from 7 p.m. ALL ARE WELCOME!
