We have received the following information from the Energy Project Manager at Cambs County Council.
Cambridgeshire County Council is working with the Learning Alliance to develop a renewable heating project at Impington Village College. We propose to install a Ground Source Heat Pump, that will draw heat from an array of vertical boreholes in the school playground to supply heating to the Leisure Centre. The project will reduce direct carbon emissions from the Leisure Centre’s heating by 93% and save money on its heating costs.
We are currently working with our engineering partners Bouygues Energies & Services and our planning consultants Portess & Richardson to develop a planning application for the project. To learn more about this and two similar projects, please register to join one of the following webinars by emailing email@example.com, with Academy Renewable Heating Projects as the title of your email.
