The Junior School has advised parents and children to use the new crossing point:

“Please remember NOT to cross outside the Co-op with your child as this is not a safe crossing point. Please remember to cross the road where the new crossing will be. It is a safe point with good sight lines in both directions for both motorists and pedestrians.”

They are also organising a collection and special assembly for the crossing patrolman who is retiring – “to thank him for all his years of helping our children cross the road safely”.
