Can the relevant committee chair give an update on any actions to support reducing the speed limit in the villages? I note that Fowlmere has a 20mph limit throughout and that Cottenham are actively trying to get a reduction through their village. I believe there is widespread support for a 20mph limit and would hope that the parish could work with our county council to achieve this.

I am part of the villages speed watch, while I agree this is a good idea I have been banging on for a long time about the speed of vehicles along the B1049, some of them in excess of 60mph, I am aware that Covid has curtailed the Speedwatch sessions but as we get back to some sort of normal can we please try and deal with this potentially deadly issue.
