A 15 seater Renault Master wheelchair accessible minibus with tail-lift. Compared
with the old bus there are many features specifically fitted to help existing
and potential uses, including:
15 seats including driver (up from 12 on the old bus)
all seats can be used by children (capacity previously restricted)
greater ease of access, built in folding step
simpler tail-lift to operate
comfortable driving position, power steering, better suspension

Sue Rye, from the Community Fund hands over the cheque (from the National Lottery
Charities Board) for £13,500 to Keith Palmer (Chair of HICOM). Histon Feast
donated £3,000. The remainder of the funds came from a bequest transferred
to HICOM from the Red Cross when HICOM was establlished.

There was a cake, and coffee and tea for drivers and users to celebrate the
handover.
The cake was cut by Sue Rye. |
| And a group of drivers eager to try the new bus! |
 |
And farewell to the old bus, having given stirling service!
