Squirrels - Information for ParentsOur Committee
If you are a parent of a child that attends our toddler group or playgroup, then please consider joining our committee. It's a great way to get involved, make friends and have fun, while really making a difference. Squirrels is a registered charity and the committee are its trustees. They are responsible for the management and oversight of the setting as well as fundraising. As a charity, Squirrels cannot legally exist without a committee of volunteers. The committee meets once per half term for approx 2 hours. Members of the committee organise fundraising events and are responsible other tasks such as the policy setting and approval, parents rota, the waiting list, staff matters etc. If you are interested, please feel free to chat with one of the existing committee or one of the staff.
