A14 Rat-Run Traffic Calming

Written 28/01/05

Work to install the first phase of the traffic calming will start at the end of January, and last up to 20 weeks. This will see speed cushions and raised junctions installed as previously agreed, and gateway features at the entrances to the villages.

The planned closure of Station Road at the High Street junction to south bound vehicles, for a trial period, has yet to be decided. It is expected to be approved today by a joint meeting of County & District Councillors, for later construction.
