The detailed orders which will make the proposed speed limit changes on the B1049 happen were published at the end of last month, and are available on the County Council website.

In summary:

• the road between Histon and Cottenham, currently national speed limit, will be 50 mph
• from 150m south of the junction with New Road, to 130m north of the junction with Impington Lane will be 30mph
• from the A14/B1049 roundabout to the new 30mph limit will be 40mph

The orders give contact details of who to contact with any objections. Copies of objections should also be sent to the Parish Councils and County Councillors.
