CHOIR FOR THE MILLENNIUM Organiser: Beatrix Bown, There has been a reasonable response to our attempt at recruiting singers for the Choir project. But we would like to hear from many more of you. Although it seems a long time ahead, we have to make arrangements so that everybody will have a copy of the music at the first rehearsal in January, and we need to book a rehearsal venue. We are planning to perform Haydn's Creation. Graystone Burgess will be musical director, and rehearsals are likely to be held on Wednesdays from January onwards. Hope to see you there! |
