FILL IN THE BLANKS

The Millennium Committee are inviting you to take another good look at the Calendar of Events for the Year 2000 on the centre pages. It looks promising, but there are still a few notable blanks.

Let us know if you are willing to:

Organise a Local Talent evening (to include anything from a keep-fit demonstration, piano playing, singing and dance to country and western, rock'n roll and heavy metal).

or

Organise an event that leads up to Easter week (e.g. afternoon of crafts, flower-arranging, egg decorating, special recipes etc.)

or

Bring people together to celebrate May-Day (e.g. Beating the Boundaries, Maypole-dancing, Morris-dancing, Handbell-ringing etc.)

or

Have you got any other suggestions?
