CHOIR FOR THE MILLENNIUM Organiser: Beatrix Bown, It is not too late to join the Choir for the Millennium for rehearsals and performances of Haydn's Creation. Come and add your voice to the rousing choruses in praise of of the world and its maker. There will be an opportunity to hear a recording of this marvellous work on Wednesday 17 November 1999 at 8.00 at the Histon Baptist Church. Please come along. You can enroll there and then if you wish to join. Grayston Burgess is musical director and rehearsals will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 7.45 to 10pm at the Histon Baptist Church, starting on 19 January 2000. Although we rehearse at the Baptist Church, participation is open to members of all denominations or none. In addition we are inviting competent instrumentalists to play in the orchestra.
