It's worth noting that when they have a spokesman from the Post Office on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire he was discounting petitions. He said that if you didn't want your post office to close you should write to them and explain what impact the closure would have on you - that's what will carry the weight ... or so he claimed.

The proposal leaflet makes the absurd statement that it is practical to travel to the Histon Post Office using the 'frequent bus service' - after having to walk nearly half the distance between the offices to get to and from the bus stops.
