From PCSO Jackie King:
"I would like to give you some good news, on Saturday 26th January, 3 youths were caught and arrested for metal theft. The three were spotted on the roof of Histon Infant School by an observant resident, who raised the alarm. Consequently with a silent approach by officers and the assistance of the force helicopter the three were arrested and are currently on Police bail to return to Parkside. This is an excellent example of how the vigilance of a member of public can assist us in our work.
Please continue to be alert and pass information on to us."

Inspector Paul Ormerod will be reporting progress to date to Histon Parish Council on February 11th. His report will be posted on the website by mid-week. He will not be going into individual incidents, nor accepting reports of others (these should be phoned through to 0845 456 456 4).
Initial reports received by Councillors indicate that significant extra police resources have been committed, and a number of individuals identified. Reported levels of incidents are down since January 17th, when actions started.
