ASB in Histon & Impington

ASB has been a priority issue for Policing in Histon & Impington for some time, and following the concerns and problems raised by residents at the last Panel meeting, even more resources will be brought to bear on the issue.

The Police are distributing a this letter (Adobe/PDF, 16KB) to those areas that are most affected. They have a real concern that there is "under-reporting" - if you are/have been affected have you reported it?

Advice on the issue, and reporting has also been published (Adobe/PDF, 7KB) by the Police.

Inspector Paul Ormerod, has confirmed that he will be attending the Histon Parish Council Meeting on 11/02/08 to give a police update in relation to ASB issues in the village. This update will cover action taken by Police and partners in relation to ASB - and any questions in relation to this.

Reports of further incidents, or questions about the handling or progress on previously reported incidents should be taken through normal channels, and will not be taken at the meeting.

Notes of the meeting will be made available (via website, e-mail lists, library, and parish noticeboards).

Operation Promenade

Is the name given to the rash of distraction burglaries affecting elderly residents across the County. An update, and advice is available (Adobe/PDF, 18KB).
