Histon & Impington Climate Change Action (HICCA) are holding another of their popular and informative evenings at Impington Village College exploring issues around climate change. Sustainable Energy Without the Hot Air will be presented by Professor David Mackay of Cambridge University on Friday January 25th at 7.30 pm. Free of charge. All welcome Also, participants are invited for a stimulating and empowering Carbon Challenge Course in Impington on six Monday evenings fortnightly from 21st January. The course has been designed and written by Cambridge Carbon Footprint and offers the opportunity to:

• explore climate change, how it will affect us, and how we can affect it
• learn what can be done to reduce our effect on climate change
• move towards action at whatever level participants wish - personally, in their families and communities, at work or politically
