Who Are We
We are a volunteer group based in histon and Impington under the direction of Pene Nudds, with a common interest in conserving the environment, wildlife and history of our villages. Anyone is welcome to enjoy the group's activities (it's free) and participate as frequently or infrequently as they like.
Volunteering for Conservation and Environmental activities in Histon and Impington is rewarding, fun and a great way to meet new friends and get fit. No prior experience is necessary. Tools are provided. As a volunteer you are welcome to work for as long as you like and as frequently or infrequently as you like.
Many varied projects in the last year have included:Felling dead trees, Planting a new hedge and trees around the Copse, Laying wood chip paths, Dismantling the railway gate-keeper's hut so that it may be rebuilt, Daffodil planting & Ivy Removal.
Are you interested in the environment?
Does it make you angry when you see litter on the paths and road?
Do you enjoy springtime when the daffodils are in flower?
If you have said `Yes' to any of the above then maybe you can help further.
The Enviro.Volunteers would like to find additional like minded people to help out in a number of ways to improve our village environment.
We have a handful of enthusiastic volunteers, but more are always needed.
If you are interested in helping in any way, then please contact

Anyone is welcome to commit as much time as they are able to give. No previous experience is necessary - just a sense of humour and a willingness to help out!
Tools and equipment are usually provided; however, if you have strong boots and gardening gloves it's a good idea to bring them along.
We are a friendly group of all ages, so if you are interested in helping out, sign up to the mailing list by emailing or come and chat to us on one of the project days.
