Histon Parish Council ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of the Council
The Council consists of: 15 Councillors who are elected every 4 years, including a Chairman and Vice Chairman who are elected by the Councillors from their own number Meetings Meetings of the full Council are held once a month, on the second Monday, and there are also occasional meetings of sub-committees The monthly Council meetings normally take place at St Audreys Community Centre, St Audreys Close, starting at 7.30 p.m. and are open to the public. The Agenda to the meetings is always posted on the Parish Council notice boards and the Minutes are deposited for public inspection in the Public Library. The Council's minutes are also available here from July 2000. The Council employs a part time Clerk.
